Darien's Hornet Swim Club to hold tryouts at Five Seasons Sport Club

Darien's Hornets Swim Club (HOSC) is holding tryouts for its swim team on Tuesday, July 31 at Five Seasons Sport Club in Burr Ridge at 6901 South Madison. Swimmer age 10 and under will be evaluated at 9 a.m. and 11 and older will be evaluated at 9:45 a.m. Families with swimmers in both age groups may attend either time slot.

New this year, HOSC is offering an instructional group, especially for those new to competitive or fitness swimming. Hornet Swim Club's professional coaches help swimmers improve their swimming abilities, as well as develop confidence, strength and discipline while having fun through competitive swimming.

HOSC serves the youth in the western suburbs and practices out of Hinsdale South High School in Darien, and Downers North High School in Downers Grove. For more information about tryouts or the Hornet Swim Club, visit www.hornetswimclub.org.
