Darien's Visiting Nurses present secrets to active aging
Updated 10:25 am, Sunday, December 25, 2011
In this program, which is free-of-charge and open to the public, participants will learn why physical activity is so vital to healthy aging, and how we can incorporate it into our daily lives, no matter what our fitness level.
The program addresses the needs of adults over the age of 50 and will be presented by Julienne Camhi. Camhi is a certified personal trainer and health fitness specialist with Darien's Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County. She will demonstrate simple balance techniques and strengthening exercises that can be done easily at home. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes and shoes and should be prepared to practice these simple exercises while either sitting or standing.
