Darien weather: A cold day for storm cleanup

A day a winter storm dumped up to 2 feet of snow on southwestern Connecticut, today will be sunny but very cold as the region tackles the big cleanup job.
The daytime high temperature will be only about 29 degrees, according to the National Weather Service, which will feel even colder because of a north wind gusting up to about 15 mph.
Tonight will be partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to be about 14 degrees, with wind from the north continuing to gust at between 10 and 14 mph.
The freeze continues tomorrow, according to the NWS, when the high will be about 27 degrees. The wind will be a bit calmer at 10 mph. Tomorrow night, the low temperature should be around 18.
By Saturday there is a slight chance of light snow in the afternoon. The daytime high is expected to be about 33 degrees and a west wind will clock in at about 7 and 13 mph. The chance of snow continues Saturday night under cloudy skies and a low temperature of about 26.
Sunday will be partly sunny, with a high near 36, the weather service predicts.
