A Darien woman is facing multiple charges after police said her children called a family friend from the car claiming their mother was driving under the influence.
According to the report, Kathryn Sullivan, 44, of 1 Holmes Court, was driving her 11- and 15-year-old children in Norwalk Tuesday, Feb. 26, just before 8 p.m. when one of the children called the family friend who then notified police of Sullivan's location.
According to the report, the officer observed Sullivan and administered a field sobriety test which Sullivan subsequently failed.
Sullivan was charged with driving while under the influence, two counts of risk of injury to a minor and driving without insurance.
She was released on a $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on March 7.
