A Darien woman is facing multiple charges after police said she punched her mother in the face and threatening her disabled brother.

Tina Tuccinardi, 30, of 52 Edgerton St., was charged with violation of a protective order, third-degree assault of an elderly person and third-degree assault of a disabled person, police said.

The incident occurred March 16 at 11:48 p.m. after police received a 911 call from the mother, 66, who had a protective order against Tuccinardi. The mother told officers the incident occurred during dinner when Tuccinardi picked up a fork and held it to her brother's throat. The brother is wheelchair bound and was unable to defend himself, police said.

An older brother separated the two but then Tuccinardi punched her mother in the face, police said. Police said the mother didn't require medical attention.

Tuccinardi was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and appeared in court March 19.
