Disorderly conduct charged on Greenwich man

Robert Connelly, 45, of 11 Shore Road, Greenwich, was arrested Feb. 7 on a charge of disorderly conduct after an argument with his girlfriend, according to Darien police.
Police responded to his girlfriend's home on the report of a domestic dispute. When the police arrived, they met with the victim, who reported that Connelly was intoxicated and was throwing things around in the home and yelling, according to the report. Police said he damaged several walls after throwing doors open, he threw make-up products at the walls, damaged a spindle on the staircase and broke her desktop computer.

The victim told police that she and Connelly were at a party in Westchester County where he became intoxicated and argued with her. She subsequently left and drove to her Darien home without him. Connelly took a cab to her home, but while in the car, he argued with the cab driver because he thought she wanted a romantic relationship with the driver.
Connelly was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court Feb. 10.
