A FedEx delivery man was bitten a German shepherd June 6 on his lower left leg while delivering a package to Prism House Painting, 169 Noroton Ave., according to police.

The man entered the building to make the delivery when the dog ran over to him and bit him, according to police. The dog did not break the skin, but the bite area was red, police said.

A complaint was filed pursuant to FedEx policy, police said.

The dog is up to date on its shots and has no previous reported incidents, according to police. It will be quarantined with the owner for two weeks.
