A woman and her dog were attacked by two other dogs while walking in Woodland Park last Sunday at 7:01 p.m., police said.

According to the report, the woman noticed two unleashed dogs walking in front of their owners. The woman asked the owners if the dogs were friendly to which they responded "sometimes," police said.

Shortly after, one of the dogs began attacking the complainant's dog. The initial attacker was then followed by the second dog.

The complainant's dog sustained injuries to its head and genitals and was treated by a veterinarian in Norwalk, police said.

The woman was also bitten on the arm while attempting to pick up her dog, but the bite didn't break the skin because she was wearing a long sleeve shirt, police said.

The complainant told officers the owners didn't attempt to stop the dogs from attacking.

The complainant was unable to identify the owners, police said.
