Brandon Ramsey, 26, of 58 Fairfield Ave., Stamford, was arrested on July 9 on charges of evading responsibility and improper turn in connection with a motor vehicle accident that took place during the early hours on June 21.

On June 21, an officer was dispatched to Hoyt Street on a report of a single-car accident. According to police, the car collided with a telephone pole, however, there were no occupants on scene. Based on front-end damage and the fact that the airbags were deployed, police started a search for the driver. They used the state police dogs to help in the tracking, said police. The dog tracked a scent south on Hoyt Street to Woodway Street, then lost it.
