At Home in Darien offers transportation services for Darien seniors and people with disabilities to locations to town, New Canaan, Stamford and Norwalk.
Service hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Twenty-four hour notice is preferred for all reservations, and a voluntary contribution is appreciated.
Drivers will take interested riders to these and other activities in Darien.

The adult summer reading program at Darien Library will conclude with a party featuring a mariachi band and home-made salsa. The party takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at the library, 1441 Post Road.
Amateur salsa chefs are invited to enter their creations for a competition to be judged by special guests. Chips will be provided. After that, Mariachi Flor de Toloache, an all-female band founded in New York City, will perform.
Historian Mark Albertson will discuss at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Atria Darien, 50 Ledge Road, the pivotal results of the atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan during the final stages of World War II. The two bombings were the first and only use of nuclear weapons in warfare.
"The Face of Love" will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at the Darien Library, 1441 Post Road. The film stars Annette Bening, Ed Harris and Robin Williams. Five years after the death of her beloved husband Garrett, Nikki meets Tom, a man who seems to be Garrett's exact duplicate. Not only does Tom possess the same physical characteristics, but he also shares Garrett's kindness, humor and passion for art. And yet he is a stranger. As romance blossoms between Nikki and Tom, she finds she can't bring herself to tell him the truth about what drew her to him. But as their relationship progresses, it becomes not a question of if the truth will come out, but when.
Guitarist Mike Ruscoe will perform hits from the 1940s through the 1960s at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 31, at Atria Darien, 50 Ledge Road.
