Opus for Person-to-Person celebrated its annual spring benefit with a sold-out Cinco de Mayo-themed event for 320 guests, raising approximately $138,000.

Proceeds from "Fiesta on the Sound," which took place May 3 at the Wee Burn Beach Club, will benefit Person-to-Person's efforts in serving more than 24,000 individuals in need from neighboring communities on an annual basis.

"Fiesta on the Sound was such a gratifying experience, especially being able to raise $138,000 for Person-to-Person," Renee Schwandt, co-president of Opus for Person-to-Person, said. "The benefit was an overwhelming success, thanks to the support of our sponsors and the community."
