Born in New Jersey and now a resident of Suffern, N.Y., Kuhn graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in education from Montclair State University in Montclair, N.J.
Although primarily an oil landscape artist, Kuhn also paints still lifes and portraits. The purpose of her painting is to translate lighting and atmospheric effects in an effective composition.
She has also been accepted to show at the OPA Regional Show, the Salmagundi Non Members Jury Show, the American Artist's Professional League and The Hudson Valley Art Association.
Her work has been collected by the General Electric Global Research and Development Lodge, Niskayuna, N.Y., and by former New York Gov. George Pataki and his wife.
Kuhn's painting travels include Victor, Idaho;, Teton National Park, Wyom.; Nantucket, Mass.; and Charleston, S;C. She is particularly fond of summering in Diamond Point, N.Y., where her artistic muse is inspired by the beauty of the Adirondacks and Lake George.
