DARIEN — A 25-year-old woman from Atlanta turned herself over to police after failing to appear in court on forgery and conspiracy charges from 2010.
On June 9 around 12:55 a.m., Octavia Adams went to the Darien Police Station to turn herself in on a warrant for failing to appear in court. The warrant stemmed from a 2010 arrest where Adams was charged with first-degree forgery, sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy for passing a counterfeit $100 bill at the Walgreens on Heights Road.
Adams was charged with failure to appear in the first degree. She was held on a $2,500 bond and appeared in court on June 9.
