Gillis Accounting Services opens Darien office

Gillis Accounting Services, LLC, an accounting and bookkeeping firm, has opened an office at 30 Old Kings Highway S.

In addition to day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping services, Gillis Accounting Services offers budgeting and forecasting, client invoicing, bill paying, banking assistance, account reconciliations, and QuickBooks setup and maintenance. The company also can create custom-made financial reports and spreadsheets. Based on a client's needs, Gillis Accounting Services is available for annual, monthly or weekly consultations, as well as one-time projects.

The company was founded by Brendan Gillis, who was the accounting manager for the former legal firm Rucci, Burnham, and Carta, LLP for more than a decade. Prior to that, Gillis served as an accountant for the New Canaan Bank and Trust Company. His experience also includes work with individuals and small businesses. He graduated from Bates College and earned a post-baccalaureate Accounting Certificate from Fairfield University. Gillis resides in Fairfield with his wife, Jill.
