Greenwich woman turns herself in on larceny warrant

Stevie Marie Murphy, 25, of 27 Havenmeyer Place, Greenwich, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after receiving an arrest warrant and turning herself in to police Sunday, June 24.

According to the report, a surveillance video system at Stop and Shop Supermarket, at 25 Old Kings Highway North, was reviewed after a pocketbook containing $180 was reported stolen on May 27. The video implicated Murphy, a store employee at the time, was involved in the crime.

Murphy posted a $250 bond and is will appear in court July 6.
