Grodin will lead the evening's light-hearted celebration and award presentations to select physicians. Guests will enjoy red carpet fun, including dining by Abigail Kirsch and dancing with the Dream Team Band of New York City.
The black-tie gala features both silent and live auctions for items such as vacation getaways, tickets to sporting events and the theater, dinner parties, floral arrangements, restaurant certificates and beauty and wellness packages.
Proceeds will benefit the Pediatric Development & Therapy Center. Created through a partnership with Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital Developmental-Behavioral Pediatric Program, the center offers specialized care for children with developmental and behavioral needs. Gala proceeds will help fund staffing and program offerings to keep pace with patients' demands for services.
Grodin, who lives in Wilton, has published eight books and for the last 16 years, has been a commentator for CNBC, MSNBC and 60 Minutes II, and is a commentator for CBS News Radio.
