Holmes School celebrates Earth Week Extravaganza

Holmes School students participated in a variety of activities during Earth Week, including Trash Free Tuesday, Wear Green Thursday and Walk to School Friday.

In addition, the Holmes Student Council and Kids Care sponsored an Earth Day fundraiser, raffling off a basket of Earth-friendly goodies like gardening tools, reusable Holmes water bottles and more.

Proceeds benefited the Holmes Beautification Committee.

School kindergarteners showcased their knowledge of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle on HLN's "Jane Velez-Mitchell" show, filmed on another Trash Free Tuesday.
