Leaf blower reported stolen from Long Neck Point Road

A backpack leaf blower was reported stolen from a landscaping company while the crew was working at a Long Neck Point Road residence. According to a report the red Shindaiwa backpack leaf blower was valued at $600.

Police said at approximately 4:30 p.m. a Freddy's Landscape Company employee reported that he had witnessed a white male running across the lawn of the residence where he was working with the leaf blower in his possession. The male was then observed entering the passenger side door of a green Nissan Altima parked on the Long Neck Point Road, police said. The vehicle then left the area at a high rate of speed traveling northbound.

Police said the subject is described as a white male, approximately 30 years old wearing a white short-sleeve button-down shirt and jeans. The subject has blond hair and approximately is 6 feet tall, according to police, adding that the operator of the vehicle could was described as a white male.
