DARIEN — The Lego Club has been meeting off and on at the Darien Library for years and offers a quiet space where children can create.

The numbers of each club meeting range from three to 40, depending on scheduling, but all children five and up are welcome.

“It’s what we call a passive program,” Laughlin said. “It’s more self-guided ... Some kids don’t have Lego at home, so this is a chance for them to explore.”

The club will meet once a week on Saturdays through March, and periodically thereafter.
