Republicans Christa McNamara and David Martens and Democrat Callie Sullivan will join the Board of Education during its next term.

McNamara received 1,873 votes in Tuesday's municipal election, followed by Martens who received 1,712 and Sullivan who received 1,674.

Shannon Silsby, who ran alongside Sullivan, received 1,501, not enough to procure a seat on the board.

According to the registrars of voters, 29.9 percent of registered voters cast their ballots Tuesday. Last year's turnout was 37.8 percent, or 4,706.
