More than $33,000 was stolen from a Darien couple after the husband's debit card information was stolen, according to police.

Police said 75 fraudulent withdrawals -- totaling $33,236 -- were made Jan. 8 from various ATMs in New York City. The first withdrawals were made on Oct. 28 and the last three on Jan. 8, police said.

The last time the husband used his debit card was on Oct. 24 at a Metro-North Railroad terminal in New York City, police said.
