Several motor vehicle break-ins of unlocked cars took place during the overnight hours of Sept. 28, according to police.
Two cars at a Midbrook Lane home -- a 2008 Jeep Wrangler and a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe -- were entered. A Garmin GPS unit was taken from the Wrangler and a $100 bill and women's sunglasses were taken from the Tahoe, police said.
On the same street, a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe had been searched and that the front passenger seat was covered with items from the center console and the glove compartment, police said, but nothing was taken from the vehicle.
Two cars -- a 2009 Subaru Forester and a 2008 Volvo XC70 -- on Hickory Lane were also entered, though the owners could not remember if the cars were locked, police said.
Nothing was taken from the vehicles, but the items from glove compartment were on the floor of the vehicle, according to the report.
