Names released in fatal Redding crash

, 26, of Bridgeport, was killed in the Route 58 crash early Sunday morning. A Redding resident,
, 48, was driving a second vehicle and sustained minor injuries, police said.
No further details are being released at this time. The accident is still under investigation pending lab results, said Police Chief Douglas Fuchs.
The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday when Leal, who was operating a Toyota RAV4, was driving northbound on Route 58, also known as Black Rock Turnpike. She lost control of her vehicle and hit a boulder on the east side of the road. The Toyota flipped over and stuck the southbound GMC pickup driven by Scott.
Leal was pronounced dead at Danbury Hospital , Fuchs said. Scott was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.
