More than 20 stars from Broadway and Connecticut will perform in "A Night of Stars in Concert" to benefit the Summer Theatre of New Canaan.

The show will take place Monday, July 28, at 8 p.m. at the open-air tent theater at Waveny Park. The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a pre-show wine reception for benefit ticket holders. Following the concert will be a reception with the evening's stars and STONC's board of trustees. A live auction will also be conducted.

The professional artists will be performing popular tunes from great Broadway shows. Also sharing the stage will be members of the Summer Theatre Junior Company and Performing Arts Conservatory of New Canaan.

"This concert will be a night to remember," Melody Meitrott Libonati, STONC's artistic director, said. "We are overwhelmed by the talent and generosity of the musical theater artists sharing their talent and performing."

The concert will help support STONC's arts education programs. The nonprofit STONC, now in its 11th year, has professional educational programs for college internships, high school theater intensives, a middle school junior company and its DramaRamas.

Tickets for "A Night of Stars in Concert" start at $30 and can be purchased by visiting www.stonc.org or calling 203-966-4634. Tickets are also available one hour prior to each show at the theater box office.
