Ox Ridge School's third grade held a winter showcase strings concert. This is the first group performance for these third graders who started playing their strings instruments for the first time this school year.

Ox Ridge third-graders were led strings music teacher Mr. Dylan Spielvogel. Approximately 45 third-graders played string instruments -- cellos, violas and violins -- through the school this year.

While the children demonstrated alongside, Ox Ridge's strings music teacher Spielvogel talked to the family and friends in the audience about tuning, holding the bow, and playing the D scale and various songs. It was an opportunity for the children to experience performing as a group and for the parents to see what the children have been learning so far this year.
