DARIEN — A package was stolen from the front of a home on Kensett Lane on Oct. 11.

On Oct. 12, police received a report of the larceny. The complainant said on Oct. 11 at 3 p.m. several packages were delivered to her home and were left in front of the garage. The complainant retrieved the smaller packages, but left a larger one out because she could not carry it. She then left her residence for about three hours.

When she returned to her home around 6 p.m., the large package was missing. Police checked with neighbors, but none had any information. The package was delivered by UPS, but the complainant could not find the email with the tracking number or delivery stamp. The package contained miscellaneous items from Walmart, valued at about $80.
