"A Pair to Share," the annual service project for Darien's Pear Tree Point School pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students, provides nighttime supplies for the Boys and Girls Village in Bridgeport. The village serves at-risk children and families.

At the school, the project is realized on Pajama Day, when students (and teachers) arrive clad in their own pajamas and bring a bag with a "Pair to Share," including pajamas, slippers, socks, assorted toiletries and a book.

The gift bags are distributed to children at the Boys and Girls Village awaiting placement in foster homes.
