Drivers are being asked to exercise extra caution next week as the town of Darien will begin paving and milling eight roads including several major thoroughfares on Monday.
Drivers should avoid the road work if possible, which will take place on roads including Noroton Avenue, Hollow Tree Ridge Road, and Old Kings Highway South, according to an announcement from the Darien Department of Public Works.
The work will cause minor traffic delays and short disruptions of driveway access to homes at times limited to one hour, according to DPW.
The work will take place on the following stretches of road between these dates:
Harriett Lane from Tokeneke Road to cul de sac and Harriet Lane East from Harriett Lane to cul de sac from July 13 through July 17.
