Darien's Pear Tree Point School fifth- and sixth-graders recently teamed up with Family and Children's Agency in Norwalk in a community service literacy project.

The students each brought a new book of his or her choosing along with a new copy of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to read to preschoolers during story time and then gave them the books for their home libraries.
