Photographer Lisa Field's work will be on display in Darien Library's lower level gallery through June 6.

An opening reception will take place Friday, May 2, at 6 p.m.

Field is a graduate of Duke University, with degrees in advertising and photography. Her more than 20-year photography career began with black-and-white portraiture specializing in capturing the spirit of young families, with sibling dynamics as her focus. Several hundred Darien and Nantucket, Mass., families have her work on their walls.

For the past few years, she has traveled extensively and has changed lenses and format to capture the beauty of the world's coastal shores, including Cape Town, South Africa; British Virgin Islands; St. Lucia; Panama and Nantucket, Mass.

She lives in Darien and Nantucket with her husband and two daughters.
