Plans for Brasilian Carnival underway

Brasilian Carnival!, presented by the Darien Community Association, will include live music, carnival dance performances and Latin American-inspired food.
The festivities will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the DAC, 274 Middlesex Road.
The performers are Amazonas and dancers from Arthur Murray Grand Ballroom of Greenwich.
The food will be provided by Marcia Selden Catering and Event Planning. In addition, there will be an open bar and silent auction.
This year's honorary chairman is Marge Harrington.
