The car was reported stolen at noon on Monday, June 22, by a 52-year-old female resident of 74 Stanton Road, according to Cappelli. She said she parked the car at 10 p.m. Sunday, leaving the keys in the unlocked car, Cappelli said. The truck was missing at 5:30 a.m. Monday morning, Cappelli said.
Police responded to 77 Stanton Road on a report from the homeowner at about 11 a.m. on Monday about the two bicycles being left there, Cappelli said.
The car was recovered at 9:03 p.m., Thursday, June 25, by Norwalk Police in the parking lot of Home Goods, 680 Connecticut Ave, Norwalk, Cappelli said.
