Police officers were dispatched at 12:29 a.m. on July 11 to a home on the Post Road after a burglary alarm system was activated.

According to the report, the complainant said the doors to the basement were unlocked and one was found open. He also told police that when the alarm was activated, he saw a vehicle in his driveway but was unable to identify it, according to the report. Additionally, the exterior motion-sensor lights were tampered with, said police.

Nothing was stolen from the home and the case is under investigation.
