Police respond to vandalism at Noroton Heights parking lot

Police responded on Tuesday, Oct. 16, to a report of vandalism to a vehicle at the Noroton Heights westbound parking lot.

According to police, the owner parked his 2011 Mercedes E350 in the parking lot at 8:15 a.m. and upon returning at 8 p.m. he discovered a deep scratch mark extending from the right passenger side trunk to the vehicle's driver side.

Police said the scratch mark is consistent with the vehicle being damaged by a sharp implement, such as a key or knife.
