Police are searching for two women involved in the theft of hair care products from Walgreens, 138 Heights Road, Darien, April 16.

The store manager contacted police after confronting two women who stole a $41.99 flat iron and a $32.99 curling iron, according to the report, then ran.

The manager said the women walked into the store at 3:30 p.m. and one of them went to the back while the other took an alternate route and joined up with the other woman.

The manager told police he saw the women put the hot irons in a large white bag one of the women waked in with.

According to police, one of the women, both of whom are black, was wearing a purple hooded sweatshirt, black pants and pink sneakers. The other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, white or grey pants and white sneakers.
