"Little Red Riding Hood," a panto production, will be performed by the British Amateur Theatre Group of Darien at Darien Town Hall, 2 Renshaw Road, on Saturday, Feb. 9, and Sunday, Feb. 10, at 3:30 p.m.
"Little Red Riding Hood" will be performed in British pantomime style, which contrary to its name is not a silent production. The beloved Riding Hood, the naughty wolf and the hilarious three little pigs will delight audiences through theatrical story telling, jokes, music and slapstick humor.
This production is a fundraiser for the YWCA Darien/Norwalk and will include a raffle during each day of the performance. Two prizes will bee awarded at each performance, each of which includes two round-trip tickets on jetBlue anywhere it flies. Prices are $10 for one ticket and $25 for three tickets. Proceeds will be donated to the YWCA Darien/Norwalk's community outreach programs.
Sponsors include Pepsico; William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage, Insurance; and jetBlue.
Advance tickets are $10 and are available at ywcadariennorwalk.org. Children under age 2 can sit on laps for free. Tickets at the door are $12.
