Richard Morales, 24, of 19 Little Fox Lane, Norwalk, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 28, on charges of driving while intoxicated and a red light violation after police observed him drive through the light.

At approximately 2 a.m., an officer pulled Morales over after he ignored a red light at the intersection of the Post Road and the Exit 11 ramp off Interstate 95.

The officer smelled the odor of alcohol, said police, and Morales was administered field sobriety tests, which he failed.

He posted a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, March 11.
