Four items from the Erica K clothing store were reported stolen March 13 after a suspicious female entered the store and tried on several items, police said. The woman, described as being a white female in her late 50s with straight blonde hair, entered the store at about 2:10 p.m. and tried on various items. When the woman exited the changing room, an employee noticed her purse appeared to be full of items. However, when the woman noticed the employee watching her, she entered the changing room again before exiting with a purse that appeared to have fewer items inside, police said.

After she left at 3:50 p.m. the employee entered the changing room and found several items of clothing shoved under a seat. The items reported missing included a T-shirt, a blouse, pair of jeans and a green dress, police said. The items were valued at $757. Police said the woman spoke English and appeared well kept.

It is believed the woman may frequent other retailers in town, and police are asking owners to be aware of her presence.
