Shoplifter takes $1,800 in goods from CVS

More than $1,800 worth of Prilosec heartburn medication and electronic toothbrushes were stolen from CVS, 964 Boston Post Road, Darien, Jan. 17 and 18, according to police.
A CVS employee told police that on Jan. 17 a man entered the store at 8:05 a.m. and stuffed boxes of Prilosec into his jacket, zipped it up and left in under two minutes, according to the report.
He returned six minutes later and took several electronic toothbrushes in a similar fashion and was only in the store for a minute, according to police.
The employee saw the same man enter the store the next day, wearing similar clothing, and take more Prilosec and electronic toothbrushes before leaving, according to police.

The 87 packs of Prilosec are valued at $1,072.63 and the seven toothbrushes $730.93, police said.
