'Significant' accident on Post Road in Darien

Police have reopened Post Road in the area of Hecker Avenue after a car accident at about 11 a.m.

According to police, the driver and passenger sustained minor injuries after striking a utility pole. Police closed the road after due to live wires.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation but police believe the operator became distracted.
