Spring has officially arrived but the winter weather isn't ready to go away just yet after southwestern Connecticut was blanketed in a couple inches of snow earlier in the week.

Forecasts had called for 2 to 4 inches to fall in Darien and residents woke up to a winter wonderland. The snow didn't stick around for long, as temperatures rose and spring may return shortly.

Even with the frosty temperatures, some residents had their dogs outside to enjoy the snow before it melted.
