DARIEN — Police arrested a 43-year-old Stamford man after he was pulled over for tinted windows and found to have two warrants out for his arrest.
On May 30 around 1 p.m., an officer saw Jason Dickson, of Southfield Avenue, driving down the Post Road in a gray Nissan. All the side windows of the car were tinted without a proper sticker.
The officer pulled the Stamford man over and checked his license. A routine search in Department of Motor Vehicles records revealed Dickson was wanted out of Norwalk for failing to appear in court. Dickson said he thought his legal issues were resolved and the warrants were erroneous.
Police were able to arrest Dickson under the strength of the warrants. He was processed for failure to appear in the second degree and failure to have a tint sticker. He was released on a $500 bond and was given a new court date of June 12.
