State police reported two fatal injuries in the 188 accidents between midnight on June 30 and 8 a.m. today.
Police said 148 accidents had no injuries and 38 had injuries.
Police reported 38 driving under the influence arrests in the same period, 918 speeding tickets and 207 infractions for not wearing seat belts.
The Connecticut State Police will continue its stepped up enforcement through Tuesday, July 4.
