Three promoted at Darien consulting firm

Itah is Casey Quirk's first managing partner.

Itah has been with Casey Quirk since 2001, and was appointed partner in 2006. As managing partner, he oversees strategy and management for the firm, and will continue to advise clients. As Casey Quirk expands its offerings to clients in the coming years, Itah will spearhead the firm's growth efforts.
Previously, Itah managed the firm's talent acquisition and development program, corporate development activities and partner management forums. His client assignments have included advising traditional and alternative asset managers on corporate strategy, economic alignment and distribution and sales, and he was lead author of "When the Tide Turns: Building Next Generation Fixed Income Managers," a Casey Quirk report published in May.
Doolan has more than seven years of industry experience and joined Casey Quirk in 2007. Before his appointment as director, he was a senior manager, serving the firm's clients with his work on international markets, institutional distribution and organization design. Doolan was co-author of the November 2013 Casey Quirk report, "Life After Benchmarks: Retooling Active Asset Management."
Doolan graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2007 with bachelor's degrees in economics and international affairs.
Stakel has 11 years of industry experience and joined Casey Quirk in 2009. As senior manager before his appointment as director, he worked with the firm's traditional and hedge-fund clients on fixed income redesign, distribution organization benchmarking and design, and product positioning. He was co-author of the May 2013 Casey Quirk report, "When the Tide Turns: Building Next Generation Fixed Income Managers."
Before joining Casey Quirk, Stakel was an assistant vice president at AllianceBernstein. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration in finance and operations management from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds a master's degree in business administration with a concentration in strategy and decision sciences from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
