Vincent Jajer, 80, had owned local Park Lane Cider Mill

Mr. Jajer was born Oct. 12, 1927, in New Milford, son of the late John and Margaret (Carroll) Jajer.

He was a graduate of New Milford High School, and served with the U.S. Navy during World War ll.

Mr. Jajer was a printer for the Danbury News-Times, retiring in 1992.

He was also owner-operator of the Park Lane Cider Mill for more than 50 years, a family business previously owned by his father.

He is survived by two sons, Mark Vincent Jajer and his wife Darlene, and Gregory James Jajer Sr.; two daughters, Sheryl L. Bean and her husband Joseph, and Diane Marie Jajer; two brothers, Martin Jajer and Maurice Jajer; three grandchildren, Gregory James Jajer Jr., Ashley Jajer and Tyler Jajer; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, John Jajer and Frank Jajer.

The Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
