Wallet stolen from Stop & Shop

A wallet containing $1,800 in cash and various credit cards was reported stolen from Stop & Shop.

The complainant was shopping in the store Jan. 13 where she believes she left the wallet after discovering it missing Jan. 14, police said. She told police she was in Stop & Shop between 3 and 4 p.m. when she left her wallet.

The wallet contained $1,800 in cash and credit cards but no activity was reported on the credit cards which the complainant canceled, police said.
