A wallet was stolen from an Edmond Street resident's unlocked car Sept. 7.
The car was parked in the 45-year-old resident's driveway at 9:30 p.m. Sept. 6, police said. The next morning, the owner noticed that his wallet, which had been left on the front passenger seat, had been stolen, police said. The wallet contained two credit cards and an insurance debit card, according to the report.
One of the credit cards was used twice, for a total of $43.99, at one location in Stamford, and a $14.12 purchased was made with the same card at another location in Stamford, police said.
Electronics were left behind in the car, police said.
