Darien First Selectman Jayme Stevenson recently kicked off the "We Are United 2013" campaign.
"Darien is a wonderful community and we're very proud of our role in improving the quality of life for everyone, from emergency preparedness and response, under-budget capital projects and improved government transparency to new drainage and infrastructure projects, single stream recycling and more housing choices," Stevenson said in a release. "Our goal is to have an honest and enlightening campaign that will focus on our accomplishments, common sense ideas and solutions, and respect for our community.
"Most importantly, we want to listen to your needs and concerns, and share our vision for investing in Darien -- a vision that balances the need to limit spending against what it takes to maintain a quality living environment."
