White dogwoods for sale by conservancy

For its 2012 sale, the Tree Conservancy of Darien is offering the white dogwood, a Connecticut native with white spring flowers, colorful fall leaves and winter fruit for the songbirds.

The 8-foot burlap-balled dogwoods are $135 when picked up from Designs by Lee in Stamford or $225 if delivered and installed. Orders must be placed by Thursday, Sept. 27.
