Driver dies in SUV rollover on East Freeway

A 25-year-old man died after he lost control and his SUV rolled several times Thursday morning on the East Freeway, officials said.

News: Rodent causes partial blackout of downtown Houston

The man, who has not been identified, was driving his Chevrolet TrailBlazer near the 9900 block of east Interstate 10 around 5:30 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department.

The TrailBlazer veered off the roadway into a grassy median and rolled over several times. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The driver died at the scene.
